These profile conveyor types have a high handling capacity and are designed to carry aggregate, sand and granular products through varying degrees of elevation.
High Handling Capacity, Reduce Spillage & Risk of Product Fall
All State Conveyors Profile Belting is designed for high capacity bulk handling situations and is ideal for mineral processing and for general fixed and mobile plants utilised in mining and quarry processing applications. This belting is also suited for conveying sand, grains and other similar sized material.
In addition to your typical N, Din-Y and M grade profile belting we also stock profile belts with cover compounds suitable for conveying hot items, goods containing oil and grease and for steep-incline conveying. You can also specify suitable reinforcing materials for particular applications. (go to Chevron belt page)
Profile Features for a Conveyor Belt System
A profile troughed conveyor is a belt that forms an actual trough and cradles the conveyed product, due to conveyor rollers and frames that are designed for this type of configuration. Whilst the belt runs over idler rollers the cleat configuration helps to stop product rolling or slipping back by way of supporting and hunching the material against the profile to move it forward on variable moderate inclines.
Cross belt flexibility or rigidity of the belt is very important with this system. The ‘u’ shaped trough roller frame houses the belt idler and is designed to reduce spillage and allow for reduced risk at higher speeds and increased production and safety.
Suited for Mining, Quarrying, Heavy Duty Industries
Profiled rubber textile conveyor belts are utilised in a wide range of conveying applications. The industries that most utilise Profile Conveyor Belt types are mines and quarries that are processing rock ballast, sand and aggregate, as well as many other industrial equipment types such as mobile crushers and screens. Profile rubber textile conveyor belts can be utilised by Brick and Tile manufacturers, Clay pits, Wood Chip Processing, Sand Plants, Concrete Batching Facilities, Green Waste Recycling; Fertiliser, Lime and Gypsum Spreaders.
