CFW Rubber Textile Conveyor Belts

Do you need a conveyor belt with good resistance against ripping and tearing for adverse loading conditions?

All State Conveyors stocks CFW (Crows Foot Weave) Textile Rubber Conveyor Belts to use in harsh operating conditions.

Why use CFW Textile Conveyor Belts for your conveyor system?

CFW Textile Rubber Conveyor Belts provides 3~5 times higher tear strength with PN340 superior resistance to strong rip tensile forces, compared to conventional fabric conveyor belts. It is recommended for high impact service conditions like rock mining, quarrying, mobile or fixed plant crushing etc.

CFW Conveyor Belt: Extreme Rip and Tear Resistant

All State Conveyors (ASC) offers AS-M and DIN-X Rubber Textile Conveyor Belts, with PN340 superior tensile strength Crows Foot Weave (CFW) fabric reinforcement blended carcass for resistance against rip and tear forces, due to the unique ply weave design. Combined with low elongation tension member enables short take-ups, this belt is deemed suitable for high impact bulk handling situations.

CFW Rubber Conveyor Belt Carcass and Cover Feature:

  • Exceptional high tensile strength
  • Low elongation
  • Superior rip and tear resistant qualities
  • High abrasion resistance qualities
  • Good to Excellent cut and gouge resistant qualities

Unique Straight Wrap Design with 3~5 Times Higher Tensile Strength

All State Conveyors CFW Rubber Textile Conveyor Belts are an ideal belting solution for high abuse installations. These belts provide superior tear strength and excellent fastener holding ability, due to the high strength carcass made with a unique Polyester/Nylon (EP) fabric weave design with 50% more polyester threads (ends) in the special straight warp, 40% heavier weft yarn, 20% more polyamide weft threads (picks) and with over twice the strength in the weft. This provides a belt that has greater high tear strength, up to 5 times as compared to a plain-woven standard fabric.

The weave is such that it will force any rip or tear to head in the weft direction to minimise the damage to the belt. If the tear happens in line with warp of the belt, it will suffer far more damage. The warp and weft threads are not the same thread size. The warp threads tend to be lighter and assist the heavier weft threads to achieve greater flexibility and higher levels of internal rubber penetration.

Top and bottom cover compounds are added for maximum protection of the belt carcass. These cover compounds are comprised of different polymers and fillers with special properties such as resistance to gouging, abrasion and impact. These belts provide high operational reliability and durability, and have a wide variety of cover thicknesses to choose from; to meet your application/s requirements.

CFW Belts Suitable Applications: Mostly Harsh Operating Conditions

CFW Rubber Conveyor Belts are recommended for above and below ground heavy duty applications to minimise rip and tear damage caused by continuing heavy impact, such as large sized lumps, sharp edge materials and adverse loading conditions in the most harshest of industries. Example of these industries are hard rock mining, quarrying, sand and mineral processing, concrete recycling, mobile and fixed plant crushing aggregates as well as other heavy industrial situations. Designed to protect the conveyor belt against wear and damage due to ripping and tearing, abrasion, cutting and gouging. This extends the service life and reduces maintenance downtime.
