Oil Resistant Nitrile Blended Rubber Textile Conveyor Belts
Do you need a conveyor belt for conveying greasy or mild oily materials?
All State Conveyors stock TimberKing and Mild Oil Resistant (MOR) Nitrile Blended Rubber Textile Conveyor Belts.
Why TimberKing and MOR belting?
Timber King and Mild Oil Resistant Textile Conveyor belts are equipped with special oil resistant cover compounds, which provide good resistance against mild solvents and mineral oils. These belts are also recommended for conveying material associated with forestry and recycling plants.
MOR Nitrile Blended Rubber Textile Conveyor Belt VS TimberKing Nitrile Textile Rubber Conveyor Belt

All State Conveyors (ASC) offer Oil Resistant Nitrile Blended Rubber Textile Conveyor Belts with fabric plies, a synthetic Polyester/Nylon (EP) woven blended carcass and a low elongation tension member that enables short take-ups.
The carcass reinforcement has high tensile strength, with impact resistance, and is bonded between layers of cushion rubber that provide adhesion and load support. These belts give resistance to chemical penetration damage and optimum adhesion between the plies.
Mild Oil Resistant belt covers are made with Nitrile (NB), Styrene Butadiene (SB) and Neoprene (CR) compounds with added fillers to provide maximum protection for the belt carcass from the penetration of pine, vegetable and animal oils, turpentine from bark wood chips and sap and mild mineral solvents. It also prevents the conveyor belt from swelling and softening when it comes in contact with greasy or mild oily materials, contributing to belt deterioration.
All State Conveyors offer two types of mild oil resistant conveyor belts, with high tensile strength textile from EP150, ranging in width from 450mm -1800mm. These belts are suitable for medium to heavy-duty applications for the forestry, wood chipping and recycling industries. This protects the belting against degradation from the existence of natural and mineral oils and solvents.
- TimberKing: TimberKing, has become the generic name associated with conveyor belts the timber industry.
- MOR Nitrile: MOR, which is simply known as a Mild Oil Resistant Belt.
The difference between these two belts:
TimberKing belts have typically a 5mm top cover and a bare fabric as the bottom cover to assist with low friction for steel trough and flatbed situations, while
MOR Belts have typically a 3mm or 5mm top cover and 1.5mm rubber bottom cover. The belts are suitable for different industries but in some applications both are utilised in the Timber industry.
MOR and TimberKing Conveyor Belt Carcass and Cover Feature:
- High tensile strength
- Low elongation
- Good pine oil, mild mineral oil or greasy material resistance
- Good to excellent wear qualities
- Good troughing ability
- Good impact absorption
Suitable Applications: Mild Oil & Bulk Handling Conditions
ASC Mild Oil Resistant (MOR) and TimberKing conveyor belts are both recommended for light to moderate bulk handling applications for the wood sap and the forestry industries.
TimberKing belts are suitable for the forestry, pine bark, wood chipping and package handling, lowers the penetration of pine oils, timber turpentine, wooden chips and sap, mineral & vegetable oils. This belt has a low friction bottom cover.
MOR Nitrile Blended Rubber, Oil Repelling belts are suitable for the grain processing, fertiliser, chemical, recycling and the building industries or for conveying materials with mineral oils. The MOR Rubber belt cover sustains its service life and reduces maintenance by lowering oil penetration and preventing the gradual disintegration of the belt.
